David Hand

Education

On leaving school, Dave completed a BTEC National Diploma in Building Studies before moving to Cardiff to undertake his BSc (Hons) in Architectural Studies. He went on to complete his BArch degree in 1999 and became a Chartered Architect in 2001.

Experience

Dave has worked in an Architects practice since 1998 and joined KWL Architects in 2005. His experience has been gained working for private architectural practices on schemes ranging from minor works to major projects; which includes housing, retail, leisure & community, commercial, offices, industrial, healthcare, regeneration and master planning schemes.

In his current position Dave works from initial project inception, master planning, feasibility studies & planning applications to the running of multiple projects once on site and attends client, contractor and sub-contractor meetings. He is also involved in the day to day running of the office and general oversight of other staff in his role as an Design Director.
