Philip Lewis

Education
Philip studied Architecture at UWIST, Cardiff, gaining a BSc (Hons) Architectural Studies in 1979, he achieved his BArch degree in 1981 and became a Chartered Architect in 1983.
Experience
Since qualifying, and prior to the formation of KWL Architects, Philip was a partner in the multidisciplinary Kirkham, Williams and Lewis Partnership between 1984 and 2001. In 2001 he formed KWL Architects with his co-director Neil Ross.
While Philip has a broad architectural background, since the formation of KWL Architects he has specialised in all aspects of care developments including care villages, assisted living, specialist care units and care homes. Philip’s particular expertise is in the preparation of pre-development viability assessments, detail design and designing for challenging sites.
Teamwork is important to us at KWL and so having a team of talented and hardworking people is essential.
