Zainab Karim

Education

Zainab graduated from De Montfort University, with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 2017 and more recently completed her Master of Architecture at De Montfort University in 2020. Zainab is currently working towards completing her Part 3 examinations directly with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London.

Experience

Zainab completed a 12-month placement following her Bachelor of Architecture degree, working in a small RIBA Registered firm based In in Malawi, Central Africa. Zainab gained valuable experience during this placement, benefiting from being closely involved with a variety of projects including bespoke residential schemes to larger manufacturing plants.

After returning to the UK to complete her Architectural studies, Zainab developed an interest in Care design. After completing her Master of Architecture degree, Zainab worked as an Architectural assistant in Manchester before joining KWL Architects Ltd in 2021. Zainab is excited to work as part of a Team who design and deliver projects across the UK that make a positive difference to their residents, users and others who experience the buildings.
