The proposed care home is located off Barnes Lane in Sarisbury Green, a suburb of Fareham, and comprises of a parcel of land of circa 2 acres which is currently occupied by a single dwelling and is enclosed by substantial mature trees to its boundaries.

 

The client brief was for a care home that would convey a modern, friendly, non-institutional feel and which is domestic in scale. Internally, the home will provide 75 residents bedrooms laid out in five suites of approximately fifteen bedrooms, specifically designed to deliver the highest standards of living space over three floors, as well as providing a broad range of internal and external communal facilities to engage and reward the residents.
